From Ellsworth: travel north on U.S. Rte. 1, about 13 miles. Landmark: Long Cove picnic area on the right. Go about 1/4 mile further. Turn right on Rte. 185. See "In Sorrento ..." below.

From Milbridge: travel south on U.S. Rte. 1, about 19 miles. Landmark: Sumner High School on the right. Go about 1/4 mile. Turn left on Rte. 185.

In Sorrento: keep left at the fork. Go about 1 mile. Bass Cove Farm B&B is on the right; you'll see the sign in front of a big gray house with white trim.
